Tchefuncte’s Restaurant overlooks the Tchefuncte River in Madisonville, Louisiana. Executive Chef Michael Gottlieb serves classic Southern cuisine-inspired menu items throughout the restaurant’s different spaces. Riverfront Village contacted Spartan Building Corporation and architect James R. Aultman to rework the building that formerly hosted the mainstay, Friends. Tchefuncte’s features a three-story experience consisting of a fine dining space, private dining rooms, an open-air dockside bar and grill, and a dock.
