The development group Ruddigore contracted the Spartan Building Corporation and architect Lynn Mitchell to create the Northpark Village Shopping Center alongside U.S. 190 in Covington, Louisiana. At the center of the development is a park built around ancient oak trees and a lagoon. The buildings are also virtually storm-proof. The project was completed in May 2009.
