Hufft Hall is part of Jackson Barracks, a historic military base built in 1834. The building used to be a hospital in the early 1900s but now serves as an installation for the Louisiana National Guard. Spartan Building Corporation was contracted to renovate the 5,700-square-foot two-story building located in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The Hufft Hall at Jackson Barracks Renovation Project consisted of interior repairs to four units and the reconstruction of 16 units into eight suites. Additionally, Spartan relocated utility areas and added new walkways. Spartan consulted the Louisiana State Historic Preservation Office throughout the project for reviews and approvals.
