The Bay Waveland Yacht Club (BWYC) has a long-standing yachting tradition on the Gulf Coast. Unfortunately, the yacht club suffered immense damage from Hurricane Katrina in 2005. However, the BWYC members contacted Spartan Building Corporation and the architecture firm Wikoff + Mestayer to rebuild the clubhouse, and in 2008, the project was complete, and the BWYC yachting tradition began its next chapter.
